In the past, before physical fitness was a priority in schools and workplaces, people didn’t have much time for exercise. These days it is more of an over-the-counter remedy for many ailments that affect our health and well being.

I will walk you through some simple exercises that can help improve your overall health while burning calories at the same time! There are plenty of videos on YouTube or other sites that demonstrate these moves for you.

If you’re looking to lose some weight or just get in shape, physical exercise can help the process along by burning calories that your body doesn’t need and replacing them with nutrients from food so your body can function properly. The result is a thinner and happier you! And who wouldn’t want that?

If you do not want to join the gym, but still like to work out at home here is a list of exercises that can help burn calories:

Simple Swimming Exercises. I know this is not technically “at home” but it can be done in your own backyard swimming pool. It burns about 100 calories per hour.

If you have a pool, a lot of effort will not be needed to train in it. The best exercises for this are the backstroke, butterfly and breast-stroke. These also work your upper body as well so you’re getting double the benefit!

Cycling Exercises . Cycling is very simple to do but you gotta do it for at least 20 minutes in order to burn calories.

Cycling is a great way of improving your cardiovascular system and it burns about 200 calories per hour.

Running Exercises: This can be done on the local track or even on the streets, where you live! If you are trying to lose weight, run on the track so you have a constant pace. Run at least four times a week, for half an hour each time to burn calories and increase your stamina!

Running is also great for burning fat but it can be difficult for beginners because of the time consumption (it takes longer than swimming or biking) but if you push yourself hard enough you will be able to burn a lot of calories!

This is also a great way to stay fit and if you need motivation, just think of all the pounds you are getting rid of!

All in All: When I was looking around for information about burning calories, I found that exercising for an hour every day can help burn your belly fat. So choose any two of these exercises and combine it with a healthy diet and you should see some results after two months.

This is what I did to lose twelve pounds in four weeks! It can be done, but you have to make some sacrifices, which are worth it when your friends and family stop noticing that there is something wrong with your belly fat.
