Strength training is a great way to improve your overall health and happiness.

In addition to these benefits, strength training also has many other benefits such as increased bone density and decreased risk of osteoporosis or broken bones because it builds muscle mass which can help protect against falls. Strength Training also helps prevent sarcopenia (muscle wasting) with age by maintaining healthy muscle mass when other types of workouts cannot be done anymore for various reasons due to injury or illness; this means that you will not have to rely on others for help in getting out of bed or getting dressed. Strength Training also helps maintain healthy joints.

A study done in 2005 by the American College Health Association showed that there was a significant amount of students participating in high-intensity strength training for at least 3 days a week, which has shown to be one of the major steps towards college health.

Strength training can improve your strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, body composition, bone density, and athletic performance.

Strength training is very important for the health of both males and females; it helps reduce your risk of injuries caused by everyday activities such as carrying heavy luggage on a flight or carrying groceries to the house. Strength training also has many other benefits which include improved posture, better self-confidence, increased ability to concentrate, improved insulin sensitivity which can help prevent diabetes, and improve your self-esteem.

Strength training is also important for pregnant women. Strength training has many benefits during pregnancy such as preventing the common pubic ligament pain known as symphysis pubis dysfunction; decreasing leg cramps or varicose veins that some pregnant women experience.

The benefits of strength training during pregnancy are many and include a decreased risk of: urinary tract infections, constipation, gestational diabetes, swelling in the lower extremities, hypertension, or high blood pressure. Strength training also helps build endurance which means that you will be able to do more physical activities such as walking upstairs or running to catch a bus.  

Women who strength train during pregnancy can even help prevent postpartum depression (PPD) by keeping their body fat levels at a healthy level and building muscle; this helps because mothers who strength train are more likely to be in better shape after giving birth and therefore will not feel as self-conscious about their bodies.
